Job summary

Resources for Human Development in Knoxville, IA is hiring a Licensed Therapist to deliver comprehensive evaluation, assessment and therapy for youth, families and staff. This full-time role includes paid training and DailyPay options, with a focus on compassionate, person-centered care.

You will operate within an established nonprofit network providing services across disability and behavioral health domains, with opportunities for supervision and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field.
• State license LPC/LMSW/LISW required as specified by license/funder requirements.
• Familiar with standard business software and electronic health record systems.
• ACT 33/34 clearances if required by program; FBI clearance as needed.
• All trainings required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, assessment and therapeutic interventions.
• Conduct intake assessments and recommend treatment.
• Provide individual, group and family therapies for mental health and substance use issues.
• Maintain active caseload and engagement in ongoing treatment.
• Maintain tracking system for treatment plans and documents per funder guidelines.
• Participate in clinical team meetings to review progress and discharge plans.
• Enter documentation into electronic medical records per agency guidelines.
• Provide supervision to non-licensed staff to support licensing requirements.

Resources for Human Development (RHD) is a nonprofit organization with over 115 human service programs across the country and serving tens of thousands of people with effective programs supporting intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral health, homelessness, addiction recovery, and more.

RHD Ocean County RIST is a residential intensive support team that provides the services needed to maintain independent living with community integration for individuals experiencing homelessness, chemical dependence and/or mental illness. Issues such as chemical dependence, mental health, homelessness, family reunification, and education/vocational needs may be addressed. RHD Ocean County RIST fosters a nurturing atmosphere of trust, support, independence, and safety. It is a program that facilitates growth by building trust between the staff and the consumers. Staff will be available around the clock to provide consumers with individual support and attention. The goal is to support and encourage the development of life skills required to sustain successful living in the community.

What You'll Do

As a Licensed Therapist, you will provide comprehensive evaluation, assessment and therapeutic intervention to address the psychological, emotional and social needs to the youth, families and staff.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Therapy
• Conduct intake assessments including recommendations for treatment
• Provide individual, group and family therapies to people with mental health and substance abuse issues.
• Caseload management
• Maintain active caseload including engaging individuals in ongoing treatment.
• Maintain tracking system for treatment plans, and other required documents to meet program funder guidelines and program goals.
• Participate in clinical group meetings regarding ongoing treatment goals, progress and discharge as needed.
• Administrative
• Enter documentation into electronic medical records in accordance with agency guidelines.
• Provide supervision to non-licensed therapists, counselors and other staff as needed to support state requirements for licensing

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Experience working as a Therapist in outpatient IIC and or Residential Setting
• Experience in working closely with a clinical team/ MDT
