Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical screenings and assessments using validated tools to identify mental health, trauma, substance use, and other treatment needs.
  • Design and implement individualized behavioral and therapeutic treatment plans.
  • Provide direct clinical care through counseling sessions and coordination with support networks.
  • Lead treatment planning, recertification, safety planning, and clinical interventions for assigned individuals.
  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, counselors, psychiatrists, physicians, direct support professionals, and program leadership for holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and clinical records per requirements.
  • Support crisis intervention efforts using trauma-informed approaches.
  • Participate in quality improvement, staff training, and program development.
  • Coordinate communication with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Support special projects and advocacy efforts as assigned.

What You'll Do

As a Clinician, you will:

Qualifications
Required
  • A Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) certification
  • Master's Degree in a related human services, counseling, psychology, social work, or behavioral health field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant clinical experience
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to trauma-informed and person-centered care practices
Preferred
  • Experience working in behavioral health, community mental health, ACT, or human services programs
  • Experience supporting individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges
  • Crisis intervention experience
  • Familiarity with community-based treatment services and recovery-oriented models of care
Schedule
  • Full-Time Position
  • 40 hours per week
  • Participation in on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled
  • Schedule flexibility required based on program and client needs
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb stairs as needed
  • Ability to travel throughout the community to provide services and support clients
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
