Job summary

Poway Healthcare Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our healthcare team as PRN staff. The role focuses on evaluating and treating residents, communicating with families, and maintaining compliant documentation in medical records.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Master's/Doctorate preferred) and be licensed in the state. Proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care is required. Clinical fellows may be supervised as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; CPR certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY or students in resident care and related activities.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Complete timely and compliant documentation per facility and regulatory requirements.
