Job summary

Saber Health Group in Matthews, NC, is seeking a dedicated Social Services professional to support the Director and ensure residents' emotional and social needs are met with compassion and professionalism.

You will help plan, organize, implement, and evaluate the Social Services Department, uphold health and infection control standards, and work within policies to deliver person-centered care across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, unencumbered Social Worker license as required by state/federal regulations.
• Experience in Long Term Care and behavioral health.
• Healthcare/social services or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director to ensure the residents' emotional and social needs are met on an individual basis.
• Plan, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the Social Services Department.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and established procedures.
• Adhere to policies and procedures of the community's administration and Social Services.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist the Director to ensure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis. You willassist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the community’s Social Services Department inaccordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures.Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Social Services Policies and Procedures.

Education and Qualifications:

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Possession of a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Social Work within the state in which you work, if required by state/federal regulations.

• Must have experience in Long Term Care as well as behavioral health

• Experience working in healthcare, either social services, direct care or hospitality, is preferred.

• Must be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
