Saber Healthcare Group in Massillon, OH is seeking a Social Worker to support the Director of Social Services. You will assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the community’s Social Services department, ensuring residents' medically related emotional and social needs are met within regulatory standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, an Ohio social work license, plus experience in long-term care and healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, unencumbered Social Work license in Ohio.
• Experience in long-term care and behavioral health.
• Experience in healthcare, social services, direct care or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director to ensure residents' medically related emotional and social needs are met on an individual basis.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist the Director to ensure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis. You willassist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the community’s Social Services Department inaccordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures.Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Social Services Policies and Procedures.

Education and Qualifications:

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Social Work within the state in which you work, if required by state/federal regulations.
• Must have experience in Long Term Care as well as behavioral health
• Experience working in healthcare, either social services, direct care or hospitality, is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: Monday - Friday, 8:30a - 5:00p
• Wage: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
