Job summary

Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton, Indiana is seeking Licensed Nurses to provide direct and indirect nursing care as prescribed by the physician, ensuring care is delivered per facility standards and regulations.

The role includes supervising unit personnel, managing total resident care, reviewing daily assignments, and initiating or updating nursing care plans to meet residents’ needs.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with Indiana RN license in good standing.
Minimum of one year’s experience in Long Term Care or related field.
Ability to stand, bend, and perform heavy lifting.
Maintain professional attitude and confidentiality in all interactions.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage personnel on the unit.
Oversee total care of all residents on the unit and supervise direct care staff.
Review daily nursing assignments to ensure alignment with ability and training.
Initiate and update the nursing care plan for residents.
