Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton, Indiana seeks Licensed Nurses to supervise unit staff and deliver total resident care as prescribed by the physician and facility policy.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with Indiana licensure; Long Term Care experience preferred, capable of standing, bending and lifting, and maintaining confidentiality and a professional approach. Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current Indiana license in good standing.
• Prefer at least one year’s experience in Long Term Care or related field.
• Must display good emotional health and be capable of extended periods of standing, bending and heavy lifting.
• Ability to maintain professional attitude, confidentiality, concern for all people, cooperativeness and conscientious use of time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/manage personnel on the unit.
• Be responsible for total care of all residents on the unit and supervise direct care staff to ensure residents’ needs are met.
• Review daily nursing assignments to ensure alignment with abilities and training.
• Initiate and update the nursing care plan for residents on the unit.
