Job summary

Sycamores is partnering with the 988 mental health crisis hotline to provide support to people experiencing a mental health crisis. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team responds 24/7, 365 days a year, with LPTs leading field support, safety planning, and triage to in-person care in specified valleys of Los Angeles County.

The MCOT LPT role requires driving company vehicles, coordinating with a Peer Support Specialist, and working across multiple sites to locate hospitals and housing as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Technician in CA required.
• Must maintain licensure as condition of employment.
• DMH experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond in person to mental health crises with MCOT van.
• Coordinate care with peers and 988 call center.
• Evaluate safety, plan crisis stabilization, and assist with hospital transport.
