Job summary

Sycamores partners with the 988 mental health crisis hotline to provide field-based support. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team responds 24/7, triaging calls for in-person intervention and crisis stabilization in targeted California regions.

As a MCOT Clinician, you will lead safety planning, assess danger, and coordinate care with a Peer Support Specialist, police, hospitals, and transport services. The team operates across diverse communities with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field is required.
• Licensed in California as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or Psy.D./Ph.D. required.
• Active licensure and at least 2 years of licensure experience preferred.
• Valid CA driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person crisis stabilization and safety planning.
• Assess danger to self or others and coordinate involuntary hospitalization if needed.
• Coordinate care with MCOT Peer Support Specialist to locate hospitals, housing, and transport.
• Respond to calls across Antelope Valley, San Fernando Valley, and San Gabriel Valley.
• Work flexible shifts as part of a 24/7 Mobile Crisis Outreach Team.
