Job summary

Complete Care is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager to lead our clinical team on daily operations and resident care at our Voorhees Township location. This role focuses on staff mentoring, coordinating medications and rounds, and ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for residents.

You will supervise nursing staff, conduct rounds, provide education, and collaborate with physicians to create effective treatment plans while upholding HIPAA and regulatory

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered New Jersey LPN license.
• Experience in long-term care or sub-acute care preferred.
• Experience supervising nursing staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift and monitor medications and care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units several times per shift.
• Provide staff and resident education as needed.
• Assess patient needs to determine treatment plans.
• Coordinate with physicians to ensure smooth recovery.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager Qualifications

• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required
• Experience in sub-acute care in a long-term care setting preferred
• Prior experience managing staff is preferred
• Computer knowledge and experience using PointClickCare (PCC) software

Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units multiple times throughout the shift
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents, and resident family members
• Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
