Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager in New Jersey to lead daily nursing operations, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality resident care.

The role emphasizes collaborative leadership, HIPAA compliance, and coordination with physicians to support residents’ recovery and comfort. Prior long-term care or sub-acute experience and PCC knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in sub-acute care in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Prior experience managing staff preferred.
• Computer knowledge and experience using PCC software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift, monitoring medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units multiple times during the shift.
• Provide education to staff, residents, and residents’ families as needed.
• Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines.
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents.
• Ensure staff perform duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator.
