Job summary

Complete Care is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager in New Jersey to lead daily nursing operations, mentor staff, and ensure the highest standard of resident care. You will supervise shifts, coordinate with physicians, and uphold HIPAA guidelines while fostering a collaborative, supportive environment.

The role requires an active NJ LPN license and prior long-term or sub-acute care experience; PCC software experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License (LPN).
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Sub-acute care experience in long-term care setting preferred.
• Prior experience managing staff preferred.
• Experience using PointClickCare (PCC) software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift, including distribution of medications and patient care tasks.
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units multiple times during the shift.
• Provide education to staff, residents, and resident families as needed.
• Assess each patient's needs to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Track treatments and patient progress in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth recovery for residents.
• Ensure staff perform duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant/Director of Nursing or Administrator.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager Qualifications
