Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager to supervise daily nursing operations and mentor staff. The role ensures residents receive high-quality care in a supportive environment and reports to Nursing leadership.

The position requires active New Jersey LPN licensure, with preferred experience in long-term and sub-acute care. Full-time day shift with on-call weekends; benefits include health, dental, vision, and PTO, plus tuition reimbursement and career growth

Qualifications

• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Experience in sub-acute care in a long-term care setting preferred
• Prior experience managing staff preferred
• Experience using PointClickCare (PCC) software

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring medications, blood draws, and other patient care elements
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units multiple times during the shift
• Provide education to staff, residents, and resident families as needed
• Assess individual patient needs to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Track treatments and patient progress per HIPAA guidelines
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth recovery for residents
• Ensure staff perform duties in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned by Nursing leadership
