Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager to lead our clinical team in a long‑term care setting. You will supervise daily operations, mentor nursing staff, and ensure residents receive the highest quality of care in a compassionate, family‑like environment.

This full‑time role requires an active New Jersey LPN license, leadership experience, and proficiency with PointClickCare. You will conduct rounds, coordinate care with physicians, and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse license.
• Experience in long-term care or sub-acute care preferred.
• Prior staff management experience preferred.
• Proficiency with PointClickCare (PCC) software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on assigned shift and monitor patient care activities.
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units multiple times per shift.
• Provide education to staff, residents, and family members as needed.
• Assess patient needs to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Track treatments and progress in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth recovery.
• Ensure staff perform duties per local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager Qualifications

• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required
• Experience in sub-acute care in a long-term care setting preferred
• Prior experience managing staff is preferred
• Computer knowledge and experience using PointClickCare (PCC) software

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units multiple times throughout the shift
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents, and resident family members
• Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
