Job summary

Complete Care Voorhees is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager to lead daily nursing operations, mentor staff, and ensure residents receive high-quality care.

This full-time, day-shift role includes weekend on-call rotation, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, PTO), tuition reimbursement, and clear opportunities for career growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Sub-acute care in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Prior staff management experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge with PCC software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on assigned shift and monitor medication distribution.
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units multiple times per shift.
• Provide education to staff, residents, and families.
• Assess patient needs to determine treatment plans.
• Track treatments and progress per HIPAA guidelines.
• Coordinate with supervising physicians for resident recovery.
• Ensure staff duties comply with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager Qualifications

• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required

• Experience in sub-acute care in a long-term care setting preferred

• Prior experience managing staff is preferred

• Computer knowledge and experience using PointClickCare (PCC) software

Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care

• Conduct nursing rounds on all units multiple times throughout the shift

• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents, and resident family members

• Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans

• Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines

• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents

• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
