Complete Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager (LPN) to lead nursing operations, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. The role emphasizes collaboration and education to support residents and team members.

The LPN will supervise shifts, coordinate with physicians, ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation, and drive care plan effectiveness. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

Competenze

• Current, unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License (LPN) required.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in sub-acute care in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Prior experience managing staff preferred.
• Computer knowledge with Point Click Care (PCC) software.

Mansioni

• Supervise nursing staff on assigned shift and monitor medications and patient care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units multiple times per shift.
• Provide education to staff, residents and families as needed.
• Assess patient needs to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Track treatments and progress per HIPAA guidelines.
• Coordinate with supervising physicians for smooth resident recovery.

Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager (LPN) Qualifications

• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required

Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager (LPN) Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units’ multiple times throughout the shift
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members
• Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator
