Complete Care is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse Unit Manager (LPN) to lead nursing staff and oversee daily operations in a long-term care setting.

The role emphasizes supervising the shift, mentoring staff, and coordinating with physicians to ensure high-quality resident care in New Jersey. A NJ LPN license is required, with preferred experience in long-term care and PCC software.

Competenze

• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License.
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience in sub-acute care in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Prior experience managing staff is preferred.
• Computer Knowledge and experience using Point Click Care (PCC) software.

Mansioni

• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units’ multiple times throughout the shift.
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members.
• Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines.
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents.
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.
