Job summary

Centurion is seeking a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse for Homestead Correctional Institution in Florida City. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care under direction of RNs and medical staff to incarcerated patients.

Shift options include 6:30a-7p (12hrs) or 10:30a-7p (8hrs). Requires LPN license, CPR certification, and ability to obtain security clearance, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• LPN license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• LPNs work under the direction of RNs, medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.

Homestead Correctional Institution located in Florida City, Florida.

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs

Shift - 6:30a - 7pm (12hrs) / 10:30a - 7pm (8hrs)

Qualifications:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
