Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team at Hernando Correctional Institution in Brooksville, FL. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the supervision of RNs and medical staff.

Applicants must hold an LPN license (or be able to obtain one), maintain CPR certification, and be able to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the scope of practice under direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs of inmates.
• Work in a correctional health setting ensuring compliance with facility policies and procedures.
