Job summary

Centurion is seeking a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Homestead Correctional Institution in Florida City. The LPN provides holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients and works under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to address a range of physical and mental health needs.

Per diem shifts include 6:30a-7pm (12hrs) and 10:30a-7pm (8hrs).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• LPN license or ability to obtain one.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within scope to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to physical and mental health needs.
