Licensed Practical Nurse Private Duty PRN

Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse Private Duty PRN at Elara Caring.

We are growing and looking for compassionate nurses to provide quality care in patients' homes across the Bridgeport area and throughout CT. Various shifts and flexible hours are available, often caring for one patient at a time, allowing for personalized attention.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Develop and participate in care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers on health management.
• Accept and document physician orders, communicating with medical professionals as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active nurse license in Connecticut or a valid compact license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Certificate, Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate).
• Preferred: Minimum 6 months pediatric LPN experience and home health experience.
• Reliable transportation and a dedication to quality patient care.
• Ability to perform physical activities required for the role.
