Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Taylorsville, KY, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work 1-on-1 with pediatric and/or adult patients in their homes. Full-time and part-time positions available for day, evening, and/or night shifts.

Pay depends on schedule, experience, and the skills required per patient. Competitive weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, HSA, and life insurance are offered, along with PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state where the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• BLS certification current.
• One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Education

1 year nursing experience preferred
