Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

You will provide skilled nursing care using the nursing process, assess patient needs, document findings, and coordinate with health care teams to ensure quality care. Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray on file.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.
