Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work 1-on-1 with pediatric and/or adult patients in their homes in Shelbyville, KY. The role offers day, evening, or night shifts, weekends, and both full-time and part-time schedules.

Pay ranges per hour and depends on schedule, experience, and patient needs. Benefits include health/dental/vision, HSA, life insurance, PTO, 401(k), and additional Maxim perks.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Kentucky.
• TB test or chest X-ray completed.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Document data and nursing diagnoses from health care team.

Skills

LPN/LVN licensed

BLS certified

TB test or Chest X-ray

One year experience preferred

Salary: $30 - $35 / per hour

Pay depends on schedule, experience, and the skills required per patient.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred
