Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide pediatric home care in the Sioux Falls area. Competitive pay is $34-$36 per hour, paid weekly, with flexible scheduling including PRN and part-time opportunities and potential for full-time hours.

As an LPN, you will administer medications, conduct assessments, monitor vital signs, assist with mobility, and ensure compassionate, professional care in diverse home environments.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in South Dakota or eligibility for license through reciprocity or multi state privileges, as applicable
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous LPN experience required – 1000 hours worked
• 1 year pediatric experience
• Current CPR certification required; on-site CPR certification is available for qualified candidates
• Must maintain all required certifications, qualifications, and professional standards
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional care in long-term care in a variety of different home environments

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care and supporting clients health, safety and comfort and well-being
• Administering medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders, Interim policies and applicable regulations
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• Completing nursing assessments with appropriate monitored according to plan of care
• Monitoring and recording vital signs
• Observing clients for changes in condition and reporting concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members
• Identifying and reporting concerns related to patient care, medications, or medical equipment

Education
