Interim HealthCare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for Pediatrics to deliver high-quality, compassionate home-based nursing care in Sioux Falls, SD. We offer flexible shifts, PRN and part-time opportunities with potential for full-time hours and weekly pay.

You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, assist with daily activities, and collaborate with a patient-centered team to support pediatric clients in diverse home settings.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in South Dakota or eligibility via reciprocity or multi-state privileges.
• Minimum 1 year pediatric experience required.
• Current CPR certification required; on-site CPR certification available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support clients' health, safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and policies.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and ROM exercises.

Licensed Practical Nurse Job Responsibilities

As an LPN working with Interim HealthCare, responsibilities may include:

• Providing nursing care and supporting clients health, safety and comfort and well-being
• Administering medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders, Interim policies and applicable regulations
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• Completing nursing assessments with appropriate monitored according to plan of care
• Monitoring and recording vital signs
• Observing clients for changes in condition and reporting concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members
• Identifying and reporting concerns related to patient care, medications, or medical equipment

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in South Dakota or eligibility for license through reciprocity or multi state privileges, as applicable
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous LPN experience required – 1000 hours worked
• 1 year pediatric experience
• Current CPR certification required; on-site CPR certification is available for qualified candidates
• Must maintain all required certifications, qualifications, and professional standards
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional care in long-term care in a variety of different home environments
