Job summary

Cortland Health and Rehab in Thomas, WV is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time/part-time night shifts with every-other-weekend requirements. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is offered for qualified applicants, with certain deferral options.

You will provide direct nursing care to residents, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with RNs, CNAs and the care team to support residents’ well-being while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in West Virginia or ability to obtain licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain).
• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred, but new grads welcome.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their care plan.
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
• Document accurately and ensure compliance with state/federal guidelines

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.

*-Sign-on bonuses are paid quarterly for 1 year
