Huntington Health & Rehab in Huntington, WV is seeking compassionate LPNs for FT night shift. Offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time and $5,000 for part-time, paid quarterly over a year if in good standing. Rate of pay ranges from $27.00 to $30.60 per hour plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in West Virginia.
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs per standards of practice and policies.
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
• Assist with resident comfort and comfort-related tasks.
• Collect samples, monitor catheters, and provide wound care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all policies and guidelines.
• Track and review patient history and vital signs and assist with staff coaching.

What You'll Do:

• Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines

• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion

• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams

• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being

• Assist with resident comfort.

• Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care.

• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.

• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.

• Help coach staff as necessary.

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in West Virginia

• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)

• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred, but new grads welcome!

• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment

Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
