Job summary

Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center in Huntington, WV is seeking dedicated LPNs for full-time night shifts. Competitive hourly pay ($27.00–$30.60) with shift differentials and a substantial sign-on bonus ($10,000 for FT, $5,000 for PT) paid quarterly over a year, contingent on good standing.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in West Virginia or relocation as permitted.
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience preferred, new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and state/federal guidelines.
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well‑being.
• Assist with resident comfort and mobility.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and comply with policies and regulations.
• Monitor vital signs and health status, document changes accurately.
• Mentor and coach staff as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care.
• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.
• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Help coach staff as necessary.

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in West Virginia
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred, but new grads welcome!
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment

Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
