Deep Creek Health and Rehab in Chesapeake, VA is seeking licensed practical nurses for day shifts with every other weekend required. Competitive pay, a $10,000 sign-on bonus for FT and benefits including daily pay access.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

PT Nights 7p-7a every other weekend required

$10,000 Sign on Bonus for FT half for PT or defer for $2.25 more on your base for FT

Rate of pay: $30-36.95

Shift Diff: 2.00 for nights

What You’ll Do:

• Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care.
• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.
• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Help coach staff as necessary.

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in VA
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred, but new grads welcome!
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment

Salary/ Wage Range

Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
