Job summary

Billet Health seeks Licensed Practical Nurses to deliver compassionate home health care to geriatric patients. You will assess patient needs, work with the RN case manager and Director of Nursing, and travel to patient homes to provide care within a 9-week episode. Scheduling is flexible and driven by patient needs, with visits typically 45–60 minutes.

New grads are welcome. Part-time or per diem roles available; pay starts at $45 per hour with travel compensation.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of practice.

• Valid auto insurance required.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• TB test within the last year or chest X-ray within five years.

Responsibilities

Billet Health is looking for LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES who have the passion and heart for total patient care. Our team provides HOME HEALTH care to geriatric patients through a 9-week episode. As a LPN, you work to assess the patient needs and work with RN case manager and our Director of Nursing to ensure commitment to quality patient care, prepared to travel and have open availability to patients as needed.

We give our staff the freedom to build their schedules as they wish. As patients come on to service with Billet, you will be contacted by our staffing team who will offer you visit as coverage is needed. Your case load is entirely up to you. Whether you are a workaholic who wants to see 5 patients a day or 2-3 a week, across your first month you set the pace in which we assign work to you. Never do we set a time for you to see the patient, but you get to call and arrange your visits to what works for both you and the patient. Typically visits are between 45 to 60 minutes.

To be qualified for Home Health care, you must hold the following credentials:

• Active LPN License in the state of practice
• Valid Driver License
• Valid Auto Insurance
• CPR or BLS Certification
• Valid TB Test (Skin test within the last year or x-ray within the last five years)

This is care in a patients home or facility of which they reside. Pay rates are established for a 20 mile radius from your home and inclusive of travel; additional compensation may be offered on a patient by patient basis outside of your territory.
