Job summary

Ascension Medical Clinic in Destin, FL seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for day shift, full-time. You will contribute to patient assessments, administer medications, and educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements include BLS, FL/AL LPN licensure, and at least high school diploma or equivalent. Prior clinic experience is preferred within a compassionate Catholic health system.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire date.
• LPN license issued by FL or AL required by hire date.
• High School diploma equivalency or related experience acceptable.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
