In this part-time role, you will provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assist in quality service delivery, and administer medications. Overview

We are hiring for: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Weekend Days (Regular). Location: Trenton, TN (On‑Site). Employment Type: Part‑time. Compensation: $30.42. Incentives: No sign‑on bonus or relocation package. Schedule: Saturday - Sunday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services to persons supported.
• Provide health related training to unlicensed personnel.
• Administer medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administration.
• Assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled.
• Conduct medication closest assessments.
• Collect health related data.
• Observe for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physician.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supported.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.
• Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
• Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families.
• Ability to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift 20 pounds.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Must be able to pull a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
• Must be able to regularly stand and walk.
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level.
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
• Must be able to communicate.

Pre‑Employment Screening

• Complete criminal background name checked in the registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities).
• Drug testing.
• Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
• Proof of employment history or references (if required).
• Positions that require driving: Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, if required for providing transportation for individuals.
