Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in Trenton, TN seeks a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for weekend days (Saturday–Sunday, 8am–8pm) to provide holistic nursing care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health/substance use needs.

The role supports the RN, administers medications, and coordinates with the interdisciplinary team in a compassionate, person-centered manner.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
• Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Excellent communication with interdisciplinary team members and families.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize tasks.
• Must meet physical requirements (lifting, CPR from floor level, vision).

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health/substance use challenges.
• Assist RN in delivering nursing services to persons supported.
• Administer medications and assist with medication administration.
• Support health-related training for unlicensed personnel.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, and medical suppliers.

Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
