Job summary

RHA Health Services in Springfield, TN is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) PRN to provide holistic nursing care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will support the RN, train unlicensed staff, and assist with medication administration and health monitoring.

This PRN role offers day and night shift opportunities, competitive pay of $30.42/hour, and benefits such as Pay activator and retirement programs.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.
  • Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
  • Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their families.
  • Must be able to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasks.
  • Physical requirements include: ability to regularly lift 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to pull a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
  • Must be able to regularly stand and walk.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
  • Must be able to communicate.
  • Pre-employment screening: Complete criminal background Name checked in the registries.
  • Drug testing Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
  • Proof of employment history or references (if required)
  • Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.

Responsibilities

Schedule: Seeking PRN LPN's for Day Shift PRN and Night Shift PRN

Job Responsibilities
