The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contracted, school-based placement in North Grafton, MA for the 26/27 school year. This is a part-time private duty/1:1 role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services.

You'll work under experienced clinical support, maintain continuous observation, manage meds, and document care while collaborating with school teams. Strong pediatric skills and independent work ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Massachusetts required.
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification required.
• Competent with pediatric nursing tasks including feeding tubes, airway management, and meds.
• Ability to work independently within LPN scope and care plans.
• School-based nursing experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous observation of the assigned student during the school day.
• Support chronic condition management and assist with medical procedures per care plans.
• Provide first aid and medication administration as directed.
• Document care and communicate with school teams.
• Accompany student during transportation and community activities when assigned.
• Report significant status changes to supervising RN and family.

Job description

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contracted, school-based placement in North Grafton, MA for the 26/27 school year! This is a part-time private duty/1:1 role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Active LPN License in Massachusetts
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification
• Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including:
  • Pediatric skillset
  • Tube feedings
  • Oxygen and airway management
  • Medication administration
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently
• Ability to safely implement physician orders and care plans within LPN scope of practice
• School-based experience highly preferred

WHAT YOU'LL DO
