Job summary

Anderson Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shifts. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care within a supportive team, offering professional growth and stability. You will provide direct and indirect nursing care, collaborate with families and the care team, monitor patient conditions, and contribute to discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ADN or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum six months Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process—Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to create personalized care plans.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Play a key role in discharge planning to support safe, successful transitions.
