Regency at Whitmore Lake is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide, oversee and coordinate resident care during assigned shifts under the direction of the Director of Nursing. • Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care.
• Current state LPN license to practice.
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
