Job summary

Regency at Troy, part of Ciena Healthcare, is seeking an LPN Supervisor to oversee resident care on assigned shifts in a long-term/sub-acute setting. You will supervise CNAs, coordinate staffing, and ensure continuity and safety of care for residents.

You will apply current LPN licensure and CPR certification, provide clinical leadership, and work under the Director of Nursing to align care with resident needs and regulatory requirements. Ciena offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The LPN Supervisor is responsible for providing, overseeing and coordinating the delivery of resident care during assigned shifts in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policy under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing/designee. This role provides clinical supervision to nursing assistants, ensures continuity of care, and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Current state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Current CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment
