Job summary

Regency at Waterford is seeking an LPN to oversee and coordinate resident care on assigned shifts under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The role includes clinical supervision of CNAs and ensuring continuity of care for residents.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as an LPN.
• CPR certification or CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
• Completes performance evaluations for CNAs/STNAs
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
