Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital - Houma is seeking PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for all shifts. The LPN will provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, maintaining regulatory standards and collaborating with physicians and the care team.

Shift differentials are paid for night and weekend shifts. AMG is an ESOP, employee-owned company, offering market-competitive pay and Tri-Parish area benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Louisiana LPN licensure unencumbered.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of six months to one year of work experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services.
• Meet psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.
• Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient condition and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Communicate with physicians and team members aboutchanges in patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnosticstudies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes incondition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to performgeneral nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
