Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital – Lafayette is seeking Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for Day Shifts with LTAC experience. LPNs provide direct and indirect patient care, meet psychosocial and physical needs, and communicate with physicians and team members about patient changes. Shift differentials apply for weekend shifts.

Requirements include current Louisiana LPN licensure, BLS certification, and preferred Acute Care or ICU experience. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana LPN licensure in good standing.
• Current BLS Certification is required.
• Acute Care/Med-Surg/ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care ensuring psychosocial and clinical needs are met.
• Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient condition and diagnostic results.
• Maintain regulatory agency requirements and hospital policies in daily nursing duties.

Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
