Job summary

Acadiana Management Group (AMG) Specialty Hospital – Houma is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for PRN positions across day, night, and weekend shifts. The LPN will provide direct and indirect patient care, uphold regulatory and hospital policies, and communicate with physicians and the care team about changes in patient condition.

Shift differentials are paid for night and weekend shifts, and AMG emphasizes an ESOP, supporting a patient-centered, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Louisiana LPN licensure unencumbered.
• Minimum of six months to one year of work experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care to meet psychosocial, physical, and general care needs.
• Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient condition and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments under supervision.

Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
