Houston Medical Center - AMG Specialty Hospital in Houston, TX, is seeking Full Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for all shifts to provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision. Qualifications

• Current Texas Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure.
• ICU/critical care experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Minimum of six months to one year’s work experience is preferred.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages are desirable.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services.
• Meet psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; support patient and family communication.
• Communicate with physicians and team about changes in patient’s clinical condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
