Job summary

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital - Covington is seeking full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for Night shifts to provide direct and indirect patient care that meets psychosocial and physical needs. You will communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patients' conditions and respond to evolving clinical situations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current Louisiana LPN Licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of six months to one year's work experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet psychosocial, physical and general care needs.
• Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient condition and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with supervision.
• Maintain regulatory agency requirements and hospital policies.
