Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support adults with developmental disabilities in New Castle, IN, traveling between Kokomo/Peru/Lafayette areas. This full-time, Monday–Friday role typically runs 8am–5pm with no weekend work, offering benefits and professional growth.

You will provide quality health care management, supervise medication administration, train staff, and ensure regulatory compliance across facilities.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana LPN license and eligibility to practice in Indiana.
• 1–2 years experience with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
• Acceptable background check and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, individualized health care management for each person.
• Conduct routine site visits, check vitals, perform assessments, counsel medication administration and document progress.
• Serve as a health/medical resource for staff and train staff in medical topics.
• Conduct audits and reviews of medications.
• Ensure compliance with state requirements and organizational policies for medical care and records.

Job Description

***This position will travel between the Kokomo/Peru/Lafayette areas***

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to help support the continuous enrichment and development of individuals with developmental disabilities in our adult residential facilities in New Castle, IN.

Qualifications

What Makes You A Great Fit:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Indiana required
• 1-2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities or other long-term care is preferred
• Must be skilled, flexible, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work cooperatively with staff, interdisciplinary team members, and outside agencies
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Organizational and computer skills
• Acceptable background check & driving record check
