Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in adult residential facilities in New Castle, IN. You will ensure quality health care management, perform routine site visits, monitor vitals, and document progress.

The role includes triage support with occasional travel, a Monday–Friday schedule, 8am–5pm typical hours, and opportunities for professional growth. Dungarvin offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Indiana required.
• 1–2 years experience with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with staff and outside agencies.

Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to help support the continuous enrichment and development of individuals with developmental disabilities in our adult residential facilities in New Castle, IN.

What You Get To Do:

• Ensure that each individual receives quality, individualized health care management, resulting in their optimal health
• Conducting routine site visits, checking vitals, doing assessments, counseling of medication administration, and documenting progress
• Act as a health/medical resource for staff, training staff in the medical arena
• Conduct audits and reviews of medications
• Ensure that the company is in compliance with state requirements and organizational policies regarding medical care and records

Schedule:

• Full-time Monday-Friday with occasional travel required; flexible hours
• Participate in an on-call rotation for triage of medical concerns for 1 week per month

Qualifications

What Makes You A Great Fit:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Indiana required
• 1-2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities or other long-term care is preferred
• Must be skilled, flexible, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work cooperatively with staff, interdisciplinary team members, and outside agencies
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Organizational and computer skills
• Acceptable background check & driving record check
