Dungarvin in New Castle, IN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support adults with developmental disabilities in our residential facilities. You will provide health care management, monitor vitals, and assist with medication administration to ensure the well-being of residents.

The role involves routine site visits, staff training, and acting as a health resource while ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license issued in Indiana.
• 1-2 years experience with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Acceptable background check and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, individualized healthcare management for each individual.
• Conduct routine site visits, check vitals, perform assessments, counsel on medication administration, and document progress.
• Act as a health/medical resource for staff and train staff in medical matters.
• Conduct audits and reviews of medications.
• Ensure compliance with state requirements and organizational policies regarding medical care and records.

Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to help support the continuous enrichment and development of individuals with developmental disabilities in our adult residential facilities in New Castle, IN.

Qualifications

What Makes You A Great Fit

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Indiana required
• 1-2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities or other long-term care is preferred
• Must be skilled, flexible, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work cooperatively with staff, interdisciplinary team members, and outside agencies
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Organizational and computer skills
• Acceptable background check & driving record check
