Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the development and health care for individuals with developmental disabilities in adult residential facilities in New Castle, IN.

This full-time role features a Monday-Friday day schedule, no weekend work, with on-call triage one week per month. The LPN will perform vitals, assessments, and medication counseling, and train staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Indiana required.
• 1–2 years experience with individuals with disabilities or long-term care preferred.
• Flexible, self-motivated and able to work with staff and teams.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Organizational and computer skills.
• Background check and driving record check acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, individualized health care management for residents.
• Conduct routine site visits, check vitals, assessments, medication administration counseling, and document progress.
• Serve as health/medical resource for staff and train staff in medical arena.
• Conduct audits and reviews of medications.
• Ensure compliance with state requirements and organizational policies regarding medical care and records.

Job Description

We are seeking aLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)to help support the continuous enrichment and development of individuals with developmental disabilities in our adult residential facilities in New Castle, IN.

Qualifications

What Makes You A Great Fit:

• CurrentLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)license in the State of Indiana required
• 1-2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities or other long-term care is preferred
• Must be skilled, flexible, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work cooperatively with staff, interdisciplinary team members, and outside agencies
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Organizational and computer skills
• Acceptable background check & driving record check
