Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes in Florida.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, delivering skilled nursing services per orders, and monitoring and documenting changes in condition.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN currently licensed in the state where practice will occur.
• Must have current TB test or Chest X-ray.
• Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
